City
The City and it’s Cathedral are closely linked as both were built at the same time. They were, we believe, designed by the same person. The Medieval streets are set in a grid pattern. There are many Medieval buildings and the most amazing market square. One can imagine the hustle and bustle as stone, wood, bricks and people arrived at this new city site. There were skilled craftsmen, labourers and their families all here, in this emerging city. Within this small space, all worked to produce a very advanced planned city with it’s unique Cathedral.
