What could be more pleasant than drinking mulled wine whilst viewing Christmas gifts on display in wooden chalets? Salisbury Christmas Market attracts locals and visitors to this Medieval City. The Market Square sparkles in the Christmas lights that adorn the trees around the Market place. There is also entertainment as many of the city’s young people sing out the carols and songs creating a sense of merriment. There is a sense of ancient history, modern times and the closing of another year.
